HardTree was created in 2010 by the parent company, Giteso. Giteso was founded in May of 2010 by Renat Galyamov, Adam Awan, and Alex Berezovskiy. Based out of London, the company offers software development services. The three founders make up the Giteso team, which is constantly working towards improving its products and offering new solutions for businesses. HardTree was renamed into Tree.io.
HardTree offers many helpful services that every business needs to have access to. That being said, the services are not terribly unique. In fact, they are quite common among other websites. However HardTree brings them all together under one application that is capable of integrating with the most popular websites and applications available on the internet today. HardTree is easy to use and easy to convert to for new users.
HardTree offers a stylish grey color scheme with an attractive leaf silhouette logo. The atmosphere on the site and throughout each of the available tools is very sophisticated and professional. Users can easily navigate to each tool using color icons and tabs across the top of the dashboard. Each item is organized into readable content that allows the user to get what they need and perform tasks quickly.
Visitors can click on the white “Try for Free” tab at the center of the homepage. This may be a bit hard to read because it is used along with a light grey background. Just beside it is another tab titled “Get Started.” The site is still in beta, so hopefully this will be fixed in the future. The user is asked to select one of five membership plans to continue. The registration form requires a desired HardTree URL, the user’s real name, company name, email address, phone number, website URL, industry, how they heard about HardTree, and password. The user must also check the terms of use agreement box to complete registration.
HardTree offers users five membership types to choose from. The first is the Basic plan which costs under $25 and includes up to five users, all modules, and email support. The Small Team plan upgrades to include up to 15 users and 14 hour support response times. This plan costs just under $100. Next is the Large Team plan which includes up to 30 users, phone support, 99% uptime guarantee, and responses within 12 hours and costs under $240. The Professional membership costs just under $400 and includes up to 50 users. The most expensive plan is the Enterprise which runs just under $1,000 and upgrades to include 100 users and responses within two hours.
